------an antidote to perpetual ambition

In Legends of the Fall Tristan said that when the Indians kill an animal they will open its chest and fetch its heart outside to fly its wild heart which is a traditional ceremony of Indians that means at the end of its life its soul can be with universe, its life is eternal to some extent.

Releasing your heart is an antidote to our achievement by which we reveal the realization of our aspiration and our everlasting ambition.

Summer home, European travel, BMWs… In modern society, attracting by a variety of temptation, people also want more when they have got his last goal, especially a material aiming. So they try their best in pursuing their so-called ideal one after another, then overwhelmed by substance. They will make whatever sacrifices on material` s behalf even their soul.

Some day they look backward when they stand at the end of their life. What will they see? Is their marvelous house, their great business, their astronomical money or their Porsche? No, they will see none of these but their empty heart. The life time that should be the honored values of integrity character, enjoyed work experience, friendship, family, community or even something lofty have been exhausted in chasing their material desire.

Never will they comprehend the truth of life without an antidote------releasing your heart at a appropriate ending.

Fortunately, we are glad to see that there are a lot of great person in the world. What they have done or doing in life enriched their experience, similarly benefited or inspired other ordinary people. Let me show some example to illustrate their way to release their heart:

William H. Gates, Chairman and Chief Software Architect of Microsoft Corporation, established a foundation------The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation after he earned lots of money. In 2005 The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation announced three grants totaling $258.3 million for advanced development of a malaria vaccine, new drugs, and innovative mosquito control methods to help defeat malaria, a disease that kills 2,000 African children every day. He found a real way to evaluate his success, his fortune. After every ending he will find a new reason for him to carry on and be worth carry on.

Du, cong was the candidates of the "by China. 2005 annual figures selection"(a program held by CCTV). He was born in Hong Kong, then emigrant to US. After he graduated form Columbia University in the City of New York he got his master degree at the East Asia Research Center of Harvard University. He went back to China as a vice-president of a Swiss bank by chance. And he saw the AIDS epidemic in Henan Province by which he found his window for releasing his heart. After this he leads a busy but also plenary life. No mater what status, wealth, degree… all these works for heart. He is following his heart. He found the antidote.

Someone says that there are there kinds of people in the world, one never find their antidote during all their life, another will find it after they earned and the last is a natural saint who follows his heart from the beginning of his life to the end, whatever material temptation they met.

However, not everyone can be a saint. So we should make us to be the second one. Find your antidote for a proper ending then seek for another goal. All these memories, once you releasing your heart, will built your fruitful life.
